The year-on-year growth of sales value remained stable

According to the State Statistics Bureau, in the first half of 2011, the retail sales value of textile products including clothing, shoes, hats for nationwide above-norm wholesale and retail industry rose 23.9 percent Y/Y, the growth rate remained stable from the same period last year. The retail sales value took 10.3 percent proportion of total retail sales value of nationawide above-norm wholesale and retail industry, the growth rate remain stable as well from a year ago.

In addition, according to China National Commercial Information Center (CNCIC), the first half of 2011, the retail sales value of textile products including clothing, shoes, hats for nationwide 100 major department stores rose 24.6 percent Y/Y, the growth rate dropped 1.2 percent as the same period of last year. The proportion of the retail sales value dropped 0.9 percent slightly.
