CNCRC: Cotton Reserves Reach One Million Tons

According to China National Cotton Reserves Corporation, since Sept. 8th, the starting of cotton purchasing of year 2011, the cotton ginning factories and traders were active and the trade volume rose steadily. Upon Dec. 30th, the cotton reserves reached 1,031,040 tons. Of which, Xinjiang cotton were 716,400 tons, accounting for 69.5% of the total reserves; cotton from other provinces were 314,640 tons, accounting for 30.5%.
