China Apparel Retail Sales Value + 18.95% Y/Y in Jun.

Apparel retail sales value in major department stores was rising by about 18.95 per cent y/y to CNY 11.25 billion in Jun. 2011, according to Nation Commercial Information Center of China. The growth rate was 0.25% higher than the growth rate of total retail sales value.

For volume, retail sales volume of apparel products edged down 8.07% y/y to 35.97 million pieces in May. The new data also shows that retail sales value of knitted products increased 13.36% y/y to CNY1.14 billion in Jun.
