 Net revenues at Surat-based Garden Silk mills jumped by nearly 28 percent, while profits shot up by 17.50 percent in the fourth quarter of year ending March 31, 2011, over the same period in the previous fiscal year.
Net sales grew from Rs 6.87 billion in the fourth quarter of fiscal 2009-2010 to Rs 8.79 billion in the fourth quarter of 2010-11.
Comparatively, net profits also rose 17.50 percent to Rs 273 million.
In the fiscal year ending March 31, 2011, net sales skyrocketed by 35.35 percent to Rs 34.04 billion from Rs 25.14 billion registered in fiscal 2009-10.
Likewise, net profit for the full year ending March 31, 2011 stood at Rs 844 million against Rs 632 million in its previous fiscal year, up 33.56 percent.
