LAHORE (June 09 2010): Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP) on Tuesday organised a seminar on 'Future Challenges and Solutions' for the knitwear industry. The seminar was organized under the auspices of Cluster Development Programme, which is working for the development of knitwear and auto parts industries in Lahore.

The objective of the seminar was to inform the participants about the ongoing Cluster Development Programme of TDAP and also to enlighten them about the challenges faced by knitwear industry and their possible solutions. Large number of exporters from knitwear industry attended the workshop. The Cluster Development Programme Director, Dr Syed Javaid Akhtar while speaking on the occasion highlighted the importance of workshop in context of knitwear industry's promotion in the country. Cluster Development Agent, Khurram Zia briefed the participants about the objectives and achievements of the programme for the knitwear industry.
