2010 China Hangzhou Viscose Industry Forum Ends Successfully in Hangzhou

4th China Hangzhou Viscose Industry Forum (2010) organized by Zhejiang Huarui Information & Technology Co., Ltd (CCFGroup) and sponsored by Domsjo, Sateri International Group, Zhejiang Xiangsheng Group and Hangzhou Xiaoshan Yuyuan Textile Co., Ltd closed successfully in Xiaoshan on May 27. There are more than 150 participants attending the conference, including China Textile Industry Association, China Textile Industrial Engineering Institute, Beijing University of Chemical Technology as well as both domestic and overseas producers such as Sappi, Lenzing, Sniace, Vicunha and Akzo Nobel, etc.

Mr. Sun delivered a speech about China economy, RMB appreciation and rising labor cost. He said, rapid appreciation of RMB will pose great impact on textile industry. Coupled with employment shortage and hiking labor cost recently, textile industry has to promote industry upgrading.


New Technology Development and Trend of Viscose Fiber Industry in Recent Years, by Qiu Youlong, Senior engineer, China Textile Industrial Engineering Institute
China viscose fiber industry is faced with several challenges such as rapid capacity expansion, short availability of feedstock, rising cost, greater pressure on environmental protection and export obstacles. The producers should take advantages based on stable technology and build a strong research team to gain more market shares according to market demand.


Continues Cleaning in Viscose Rayon Processing, by Mr. Anders Cassel, Senior scientist, Akzo Nobel
Mr. Anders Cassel from Akzo Nobel gave a report about continuous cleaning in viscose rayon processing. After analyzing the existing characteristic of technology, problems about clogging and black particles, he introduced more advanced continuous cleaning, which is to improve the quality of products by optimizing surfactants systems.

Mr. Chen Junxian from CCFGroup revealed some risks that textile industry is faced with currently. 1.The impact of fluctuating USD on textile exports. 2. The influence of China monetary policy on viscose industry. 3. Labor problem of textile enterprises.
