The first regional store of Shaoxing Red-Green-Blue Dyeing & Printing Co., Ltd. opened in Chengdu on May 11th. According to its manager, the chain store in the whole nation is an important step for Red- Green-Blue's strategy. All of those stores will use the same brand RGB.
More and more textile manufacturers are learning from their foreign predecessors to building their own brands. First, they develop their R&D team and the design team. Then they open stores national wide and sell the licenses. With the mature of the market channel, they provide their products to the customers with a quick pace.
Red-Green-Blue digital printing is well known in this business. With its professional design team, it could work out nearly 10 new patterns every day. The company design special product based on the demand from different regions to make sure every region has its feature. Normally the downstream manufacturer could receive the fabrics, make the clothes, put them into market in one week.
Another example is Sanmiao Trade, a home textile supplier. It is a big merchant in China Textile City and has stores in many cities. It even opened its store in Russia, which helped to build a good name.
According to the management commission of China Textile City, about 2% of its merchants are opening stores in the nation, or chain stores. About 20 of them have set up stores overseas already.
