Two test items added in the new version of eco-textile standards

2012 version of the eco-textile certification standards (Oeko-Tex standard 100) was introduced on January 3, compared with the 2011 version, the new standard added two items of residual organic solvents and surfactants residues in the test, and made a requirement of limitation, the certificate holder shall start implementation of new standards before April 1, 2013.

Inspection and quarantine departments to remind the relevant export enterprises, the Oeko-Tex standard 100 covering Europe, the U.S. textile laws and regulations requirements, is the world’s most widely used, the influence of the textile testing standards. Oeko-Tex standard 100 updated annually, so the export enterprises should pay close attention to it, make the full interpretation of the standards to meet the new requirements as soon as possible to avoid unnecessary losses.
