CEAM (Consorzio Alto Milanese) joins a qualified group of 26 small-medium enterprises of the mechanical textile field, mainly located in the north of a great industrial area, historically named as "Alto Milanese", as it reaches the borders of the capital of the Lombardy region. A territory with an old textile tradition and bent, that reached its greatest importance in the seventies, when Busto Arsizio 鈥?an important cotton centre 鈥?was called the "Italian Manchester". The symbol of this incredible development is Enrico Dell鈥橝cqua, the pioneer of the Italian export. This year, 2001, the hundred fifty anniversary will be celebrated. Not only for these reason, CEAM has already begun his celebration, through the just created Association, having the same name.
