China - Sinopec to process 97.1 mln tons of crude oil in H2

Sinopec, the largest refiner in Asia by capacity, plans to process crude oil of 3.85 million barrels per day or 97.1 million tons in total in the second half of this year, whereas it processed 3.5 million bpd or 86.9 million tons in total in the first half, sources reported.

Sinopec intends to sell 63 million tons of refined fuel during the period from July to December, whereas it sold 57.71 million tons in the first six months.

In addition, Sinopec will produce 21.4 million tons of crude oil and 4.96 billion cubic meters of natural gas in the second half, whereas it yielded 21 million tons of crude oil and 4.04 billion cu m of natural gas in the first half.

Reportedly, CFO Wang Xinhua said that the second-half international oil prices are predicted to be between US$65 and US$75 per barrel
